SOPAC Spring Auction

About the Spring Auction

SOPAC's first digital Spring Auction gives patrons, community leaders, and artists a unique way to raise significant funds to bring world-class entertainment to our stage and to provide transformational arts experiences to students, community members, artists, and more. 

Bidding will be open on all items starting on May 13 at 6AM to May 19 at 6PM.

Additionally, on Thursday, May 16 at 5:30PM, all SOPAC Members are invited to a one-night-only in-person viewing of our Spring Auction items! This evening of fundraising and fellowship will include music, food, and the opportunity to view and bid on the spectacular prizes up for auction during SOPAC's Spring Auction.

Auction Procedures

Please read the Silent Auction descriptions carefully, noting any restrictions. SOPAC will not be responsible for auction items not redeemed within the time specified by the donor or within a year. Item descriptions are followed by a value, or in the case of particularly unique items, the value is listed as priceless. Please note that only the amount paid over the fair market value is tax-deductible to the fullest extent provided by law. 

Online Bidding

Registering online provides access to place bids on silent items and receive text/email updates for the event.  To register, please follow the below steps: 

1. Click HERE or text SOPACAuction24 to 76278
2. Reply to the text message you receive with your first and last name. 
3. Reply to the following text message with your email address. 

To place bids on items: 

1. Click the blue link in your welcome text message and it will take you to your personal bidding page.
2. Click on an item you would like to bid on.
3. The Bid amount pre-populates with the next minimum bid so all you have to do is press Bid. 

To set up automatic bidding and easily manage your priority items: 

1. Select the "Auto Bid" tab.
2. Enter your highest bid amount.
   We'll increase your bid as needed to keep you winning until your limit is reached! You will receive a text notification when you have been outbid at your highest amount entered. 
   

Close of Bidding

The last call for bidding will be at 5:45 PM on Sunday, May 19, 2024. You will also receive a warning text message 10-15 minutes before the close of the silent auction. The silent auction will close at 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 19, 2024. There is a countdown located at the top of the Items Page for your convenience.  

Payment

Use the self-checkout feature by clicking on the Pay tab at the conclusion of the auction. Here you can easily review your purchase summary and confirm payment information directly from your mobile phone. Once payment is secured, a red PAID stamp will appear on the page, and you will automatically be emailed a copy of your statement. Silent auction winners will be contacted directly with more information on how to claim a prize.  

All payments are final. Refunds are not permitted.
